About Us

We are fortunate in West Michigan to have a vibrant Jewish community. In addition to our wonderful congregations, we have a strong United Jewish School, great cultural and social events such as the Jewish Film Festival, and vital social service programs. Our Jewish Federation of Grand Rapids plays an important role in funding these projects and many others that contribute to a growing and diverse Jewish community.

Donations to Federation help to fund social services for Jews in need, not only in West Michigan, but in Israel and around the world. A key reason for Federation’s success for more than 70 years is the broad support we receive from our small community of approximately 2,000 Jews in Kent and Ottawa Counties.

Please consider making a gift for an amount personally meaningful to you in support of Federation. You may do so by clicking the Donate button at the top of this page.
