Come join your friends at the Children's Museum and celebrate Sukkoth.  At this event, you will enjoy entertainment by Mark Rossio, "The Marvelous Toy."  We will also have crafts available for little hands and a Sukkah with a lulav and etrog.
Your Cultural Council ticket will get you into the museum and all the activities normally available.  If you come to this event and you are not a Cultural Council ticket holder, the cost is $4.00 per person, ages 2 and older.

Dr. Khaleel Mohammed:  Islam and Judaism

Born in Guyana, South America, Dr. Khaleel Mohammed is an expert on both Judaism and Islam.  He will present a fascinating lecture to a mixed Jewish, Muslim and Christian audience on a variety of topics centering on the representation of Judaism and Jews in the classical Islamic literature.  Dr. Mohammed is unique in being accepted by both the Shia and Sunni sects of Islam and in the fact that, as an imam and scholar, he actively supports the cause of Israel.

Vocolot: All Women A Cappella Ensemble

Vocolot digs deeply into the art of song in a fusion of folk, jazz, classical and cantorial traditions.  Layering lush harmonies and global rhythms, Vocolot creates original music and poetry along with fresh interpretations of ancient and contemporary texts.

Beatriz Levi: Classical Pianist
